SPRING BREAK SCHEDULE:

 

All players need to report to "The Viking" on Sunday by 4:00PM.  It is located at 23822 Perdido Beach Blvd.  Turn left at the 'T' and it is a little over 4 miles, or it is .9 miles if you come down the Expressway (after you turn right at the light onto the blvd).

Here is the daily plan:

Sunday (3/14):  Arrive by 4:00PM and quick practice at the beach (5:00PM)                                  Eat at the house for supper, free night to do whatever                                        .                                                 Back to the houses by 10:00PM, lights out

Monday:  Wake up at 6:15AM

                 Breakfast at house

                 Leave at 7:00AM  (wear white pants / red jerseys)

                 Game at 8:00AM vs. Prattville  (Orange Beach Sportsplex #3) (1B dugout)

                 Return to house after game

                 Leave at 1:30PM (same uniform)

                 Game at 2:30PM vs. Hewitt Trussville  (OB Field #3) (3B dugout)

                 Game at 4:00PM vs. Hoover  (OB Field #3) (3B dugout)

                 Eat at restaurant after game

                 Return to house (approx. 7:00PM)

                 Relax and enjoy time 

                 Back at house at 11:00PM

                 Lights out at 12:00PM

 

Tuesday:  Breakfast at the house

                 Leave at 10:30AM (wear gray pants / blue jerseys)

                 Game at 11:30AM vs. Benjamin Russell (Orange Beach Field #4) (1B dugout)

                 Lunch at the field

                 Game at 4:00PM vs. Spain Park (Orange Beach Field #4) (1B dugout)

                 Beach time after game

                 Dinner at the house (?)

                 Back at house at 10:00PM

                 Lights out at 11:00PM

 

Wednesday:  Breakfast at the house

                      Game times to be determined

                      Wear white pants and red jersey

                      After last game, you are free to go or can stay at the house tonight

                      Make sure coaches know if you are leaving

 

 

 

Thursday:  Everyone must be gone by 10:00AM

 

Friday-Sunday:  Enjoy your time

 

Monday (3/22):  Practice at 2:30PM

 

Rules and Expectations:

1.  Take care of the houses:  Pick up trash, take out trash, clean up after eating, etc.

2.  Tell one of the coaches if you are leaving the house, and who you are going with

3.  After last game on Wednesday, notify the coaches if you are leaving

4.  Bring all uniforms, cleats, gloves, bats, etc.

5.  Be smart about too much sun, you can tan all you want Thursday through Saturday

6.  Make sure you are at the houses on time

7.  Have fun, but let’s make sure we take care of business when time to play

8.  You may want to bring some snack food and drinks

 

Gulf Shores Sportsplex

From Foley: Take Hwy 59 South to County Road 6. Take a right on County Road 6. Sportsplex is approximately 1-1/2 miles on right. Softball fields are on the left side of the Sportsplex.

From Gulf Shores: Take Hwy 59N over the Holmes Bridge. Take a left on County Road 6. This should be the second light after you go over the bridge. The Sportsplex is approximately 1-1/2 miles on the right. Softball fields are on the left side of the Sportsplex.

Orange Beach Sportsplex

Take I-65 S. to AL-287 exit-# 37- toward GULF SHORES PKWY/BAY MINETTE. Turn left onto AL-287 which becomes Hwy. 59 S. (Gulf Shores Pkwy.) Follow directions below when you get to the I-10 interchange.Take the AL-59 S. exit-#44- toward LOXLEY/GULF SHORES-BEACHES. Hwy. 59 S. Follow Hwy 59 through Loxley, Robertsdale, and Summerdale. You may choose to take the Foley Beach Express, which is a toll road starting just north of Foley off Hwy 59 S. Take a left when the toll road ends. The sportsplex is approximately 5 miles down on the right. The road is just past the Water Treatment Plant.

If you do not take the Foely Beach Express, follow Hwy 59 South through Foley and into Gulf Shores. Take the first left over the bridge. At the red light, take a left. Follow the canal road approximately 5 miles to the Water Treatment Plant

The Sportsplex is on the right just past the treatment plant.
